Biden seemed to have the same enthusiasm he did when the campaign was still on. Always a crowd favourite, Biden mingled with several spectators and bounded from side to side, causing his Secret Service detail to have to keep up with him.
If Biden was full of energy there, then perhaps the polar opposite moment was here, when President Obama turned to look at the inauguration crowd once last time, quietly taking in the moment.
