Welcome to another edition of “Did You Know?”!. Did you know that YouTube has a section for viewing commercial films online? We all know YT for allowing regular folks like us to upload our videos but they also have an online video streaming service. They have new releases just like a video rental store. Movies will run you between $3.99 and $4.00 CDN. The unfortunate thing is that the films are shown in 480p as their highest resolution. The saving grace is that they have a pretty good selection of free movies. The titles that you can watch for free aren’t bad either. Some of the newer free flicks are less than three years old. There are also some classics in the free list, such as the timeless Ishtar. Seriously though, you should check it out, there maybe some interesting flicks there that you haven’t seen before. As a final note, I believe the selection is dependent on the region of the world you live in, so you actually might have more to choose from than I do!
