The weather here in the greater Vancouver area has been consistently hot and sunny for the last several days. It has been great. There are days where I get all sweaty from being in the sun but I am not complaining. This is what summer is all about. Before long, the clouds and rain will return before we know it.
At least on the weekdays, I take a portion of my lunch hour to go down near the water to get some fresh air and enjoy the nice weather. In a non-pandemic world, I would not be able to do this. I’d be stuck at the studio at lunch. I guess this is one of those times where I’m making lemonade when I’ve been handed lemons.
I hope the nice weather continues through the rest of July and is around for all of August. That would make this a more bearable summer in light of all the other things that we can’t do for now.
