After a week in sunny and warm San Diego, I have returned home. While I was away, I missed all the smoke and haze that returned to Vancouver. San Diego was warm without being too hot. The exception was my first day, the Saturday, where it was unusually hot for SD. Temperatures were above 30 degrees Celsius, which is not normal for the city. The rest of the time was very pleasant.
I got into a few adventures on my vacation, which I will go into detail over the next several days. As a sneak peek, I can tell you I tried UberEATS for the first time. I also had some incredible Wagyu beef that defies description. Finally, after flying for decades, I missed my first ever flight (though it was totally not my fault).
Alas, I have to go back to work tomorrow and return to reality.
